Make the existing heating system clear
Basildon's growth as a planned New Town is part of its local story, but that does not make every property identical. Boiler changes, flues and the final price
An exchange in the same position can have a different scope from moving a boiler, changing the boiler type or converting from a back boiler. The flue also affects the quote: the calculator separates wall and roof routes and asks about a square flue when that applies. Those are installation choices, not decorative details, because the correct equipment and route need to be checked for the home.
The online total is a guide based on your answers and selected model. Before a fixed quote is agreed, the installer needs to check access, pipework, drainage, controls and the proposed flue arrangement. Air conditioning for Basildon homes
Start an air-conditioning estimate by listing the rooms you actually want to heat or cool and choosing an approximate size for each. Include a garden room as a garden-room choice so the calculator asks for a room size directly rather than bedrooms. The outdoor-unit question then offers the ground-level, ground and flat-roof options intended for that flow.

A service can reveal a repair need; ask for any extra work and cost to be explained before it is carried out.
